The Manuel de Mello Scholarship rewards young doctors who conduct clinical research projects within the scope of the Research and Development Units of Portuguese Medical Schools. In the amount of 12,500 Euros and with annual periodicity, it intends to reward medical research works, with the competition being open to all health professionals. José Miguel Ribeiro de Castro Guimarães is the new chairman of the Medical Association for the 2017/2019 triennium. What is the nutritional status of the Portuguese elderly? The Epidemiology Unit of the Institute of Preventive Medicine seeks to answer it

Research conducted by the Epidemiology Unit of the Institute of Preventive Medicine of the FMUL intends to know the nutritional status of the Portuguese elderly better. GAPIC: Results of the 2016 Competitions

In order to promote and stimulate the practice of scientific research, in 2016 GAPIC launched three competitions, two of which for students of the Integrated Master Degree in Medicine (IMD) and another for medical newly graduates.
