The First Centre for Medical Simulation and Robotics is to be located at the Faculty of Medicine UL

  The public ceremony to present the future Centre for Medical Simulation and Robotics, the first in Portugal, was held on 6 June last. The centre will be placed at the Câmara Pestana Building of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. Solidarity day – Brotherhood St. Vincent de Paul

Another solidarity activity was held on 24 April 2012. The group of volunteers consisting of employees of the Faculty of Medicine and of the Shared Services of the University of Lisbon was extremely welcomed by the Board of the Brotherhood St. Vincent de Paul and all its members. In the morning there were outdoor activities involving land clearing, paint work, gardening, and cleaning of annexes. With the overall goal of strengthening scientific, pedagogical, and assistance capacities, FMUL regularly signs protocols with other institutions that share the same goals. On 3 October 2011, a collaboration protocol was signed by FMUL e o HPP Lusíadas, S.A. and another one was signed between FMUL e o Hospital da Luz, S.A on 23 December 2011.
