This course aims to provide health professionals with an opportunity to explore feelings, both in a cognitive and experiential perspective and the meaning attributed to life, death and the dying process, in order to incorporate the personal emotional domain in therapeutic competencies, in their daily work with patients and families.

Specific objectives
- To reflect on the process of personal elaboration of feelings associated with loss and the process of dying.
- Recognize the needs and difficulties of families with progressive and / or incurable diseases.
- Acquire competence and practice in therapeutic techniques of intervention, both individual or in group, on the emotional impact in the process of advanced disease.

Targets
Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists, Social Service Technicians, or other graduates interested in the subject of mourning or working with people in the process of mourning.
Duration / ECTS
The course will have a total duration of 28 hours (21 lectures and 7 non-teaching hours). This course has a learning assessment and is credited to 1 ECTS credit unit.
