Applications can be submitted until 30 September. Check the regulations here.
The Professor Francisco Pulido Valente Science Award is an initiative of the Francisco Pulido Valente Foundation [FFPV] and of the Foundation for Science and technology (FCT) and aims to “reward the best work published in a field of Biomedical Sciences (irrespective of the year of publication) that describes research conducted at a national laboratory by a researcher younger than 35 years of age”.
Each year the award honours work in a specific area of Biomedical Sciences: Neuroscience, Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology Applied to Medicine, Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics, Cell and Molecular Pathology, Medical Physics and other areas deemed appropriate by the organization.
